A family enterprise in the village of Les Riceys: 4 generations of wine growers
Having started out as grape growers, my parents André BATISSE and Francoise LANCELOT decided in 1972 to produce their own Champagne, thereby creating Champagne BATISSE-LANCELOT.
As growers and producers, we cultivate our vines (75% Pinot Noir, 5% Pinot Blanc and 20% Chardonnay) using only the most eco-friendly techniques, combining traditional and modern methods.
The average age of our vines is 40 years. They are located on either side of the large Champagne terroir, known as “Les Riceys”. This provides a great diversity, and enables us to produce blends that are rich and aromatic, which will age slowly in our cellars.
From vine to bottle, everything we do is done with love.
